W18BB-TV welcomes the America One network

May 12, 2006 Beginning May 15, 2006, W18BB-TV, Adelphia Channel 22, will bring in additional programming from new network provider, The America One Television Network, an independent 24-hour sports and entertainment broadcast network. Having America One on board will allow the station to feature contemporary and classic television shows and movies through full-service syndication and distribution. America One’s programming is seen via 155 networks and television stations across the country, with sports programming being broadcast through regional sports networks. It has also been the major U.S. distributor for the Canadian Football League. America One Sports (a subsidiary of America One Television Network), provides high quality sports programming to cable networks and independent stations. Along with the Canadian Football League, America One Sports distributes the National Lacrosse League, Professional Fast Pitch Softball, college sports, and many more, to various networks. America One, who is owned by USFR Media Group in Houston, Texas, is the United States’ fastest growing independent network. The America One Network joins W18BB-TV’s current line-up of locally featured specials as well as regional/ national programming from The Black Family Channel out of Atlanta, Georgia. Together, the two networks will provide the perfect culmination of family-oriented programming all on one channel. Program schedule updates will be made available soon.
