March 15, 2005Elizabeth City State University hosts Viking Fest, a week of events centered around student interests. A full list of events follows. Events are free of charge unless otherwise noted. April 3 , Chapel, 11 a.m. in Moore Hall Auditorium April 3, Movie Night at 7 p.m. in the parking lot of the ITC Building $2 April 4 , Poetry Night,7:30 p.m. in Williams Hall Gym $1 April 5 , Miss & Mr. ECSU’s Block Party and casino night 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. in the Bowling Center free to ECSU students April 5 , Midnight Breakfast, 12 a.m. in Bedell Hall this event is open to ECSU Students Only April 6 , Miss Black & Gold Pageant, 7:30 p.m. in the Floyd L Robinson Auditorium-Fine Arts Complex. ECSU female students display their fashions and talent in the annual contest for the title, "Miss. Black and Gold," Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity’s regal lady April 6, Laser Tag, 10 p.m. in Williams Hall Gym $1 for ECSU students only April 7 ,Vike Nu Fashion Show, 7:30 p.m. in the Floyd L Robinson Auditorium-Fine Arts Complex $5 with ID, $7 without ID. ECSU’s student fashion troupe strolls the runway for this show. April 8 , Viking Fest Variety Show, 8 p.m. Vaughan Center, This show includes performing artists Crime Mob and BET comedians CoCoa Brown and Michael Blackson. April 8 , After Party, 10 p.m. Williams Hall Gym $5 with ID or $10 without ID (this event open to college students 18 years of age and older) April 9 , Viking Fest Bazaar, 10a.m.-5 p.m. on the softball field In the case of rain, visit the Williams Hall Gymnasium April 9 , Step Show, 7 p.m. Vaughan Center The hostess is BET comedienne B-Phlat $10 in advance $15 at the entrance door April 9 , After Party, 10 p.m. in Williams Hall Gym $5 with ID $10 without ID (this event open to college students 18 years of age and older) April 10, 5 p.m in the Floyd L Robinson Auditorium of the Fine Arts Complex The program includes Essence of Praise Gospel Choir as well as guests Julius Goodman & New Millennium Praize of New York, Virginia State University Gospel Chorale and Interdenominational Choir. Entry doors open at 4 p.m. $3 with ECSU ID $5 without ID
