The University Players present " Goldilocks on Trial " by Ed Monk at 1 p.m. on February 20 in the auditorium of the Mickey L. Burnim Fine Arts Center. The entry price is $3.Goldilocks is on trial for breaking and entering. Will she be found guilty and sent to prison, or will the truth come out? It’s up to Judge Wallabee and some very silly jurors to decide, after hearing testimony from Goldilocks, the bickering Three Bears, and surprise witness Merwin the Big Bad Wolf, and others. Ed Monk, the playwright, teaches theatre at Chantilly High School in Chantilly, Virginia. He is the author of seventeen plays that have been published by Playscripts, Inc. His plays have been performed in numerous children’s theatres, theatre festivals, and universities.
