Many of the nation’s colleges and universities require prospective students to submit scores from the SAT and other college entrance exams as part of the application process. Eligibility for the Talent Search Program is based on parental income. For an application, call the ECSU Education Talent Search Program, 252-335-3667, or communicate by e-mail: pmchiabi@mail.ecsu.edu. The Education Talent Search Program is an educational outreach program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The program provides academic, career, and financial counseling to its participants and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue onto the postsecondary school of their choice. The Talent Search Program also serves high school dropouts by encouraging them to reenter the educational system and complete their education.
