March 29, 2005The Army ROTC unit at Elizabeth City State University was recently recognized as being in the top 15 percent of the U.S. Army Cadet Command’s 272 units for the school year 2003- 2004. This recognition is reserved for ROTC units who demonstrate excellence in the overall ROTC program and the hard work and competence of ECSU cadets. The accomplishment also reflects the support given to the unit by the university. ECSU’s unit has approximately 43 cadets. Lt. Col. Vince Ross is the commanding officer.
