Military Science Department announces eight new officers in US Army

The Military Science Department at Elizabeth City State University announces the eight cadets commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant in the U. S. Army:
- 2nd Lieutenant Curtis J. Bradley, from Fayetteville, N.C., majored in criminal justice. He plans to work with the Military Police Corps, US Army Reserve at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
- 2nd Lieutenant Jamie R. Morrison, from Monroe, N.C., majored in criminal justice. Morris plans to work with the Military Police Corps, in the U.S. Army Reserve at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
- 2nd Lieutenant Brittany L. Friend, from Barrington, NH, majored in criminal justice. Friend plans to work with the Medical Service Corps., in the U.S. Army Reserve in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
- 2nd Lieutenant Ken’Needra C. Durham, from Warner Robins, Ga., majored in physical education: aquatics and fitness. Durham plans to work in the Medical Service Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve at Fort Benning, Ga.
- 2nd Lieutenant Ron C. Harrell, from Hertford, N.C., majored in criminal justice. Harrel plans to work with the Military Police Corps, in the U.S. Army Reserve at Fort Bragg, N.C.
- 2nd Lieutenant Joseph D. Thornhill, from Elkins, W.Va., majored in history. Thornhill plans to work with the Engineer Corps in the US Army at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, in Washington.
- 2nd Lieutenant Michael P. Morton, from Elizabeth City, N.C., majored in criminal justice. He plans to work with the Ordnance Corps in the US Army at Fort Wainwright in Alaska.
- 2nd Lieutenant Joseph S. Washburn, from Elizabeth City, N.C., majored in criminal justice. Washburn plans to work with the Infantry Corps in the U.S. Army, at Fort Benning, Ga.
