January is Stalking Awareness Month

January 24, 2006On January 27th at 2 p.m., to coincide with National Stalking Awareness Month, the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) will host a Web Forum discussion with Dr. David Lisak on assisting victims of stalking. Dr. Lisak is an associate professor of psychology at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, where he conducts and supervises research on the causes and consequences of interpersonal violence. His research has been published in leading psychology, trauma, and violence journals, and he was the founding editor of Psychology of Men and Masculinity. In addition to his research and professorship, Dr. Lisak serves as faculty for the National Judicial Education Program and the American Prosecutors Research Institute.
