January 27, 2005Elizabeth City State University will host the Evelyn A. Johnson African-American Choral Music Festival at 6 p.m. February 13 in the Floyd L. Robinson Auditorium of the Fine Arts Complex. This annual festival spotlights some of the most cherished standard, choral literature written and arranged by African-American composers. Two choirs, the Winston Salem-State University Choir and the Johnson C. Smith University Choir, will join the Elizabeth City State University Choir for this year’s festival.
