ECSU Summer School registration begins June 5

May 18, 2006Registration for Summer School at ECSU will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on June 5 in the K. E. White Graduate Center. Classes will begin at 8 a.m. on June 6. Late registration is on June 7 and June 8. On those days, current ECSU students should register through their departmental advisor and other students should register through the Office of Admissions. The ECSU Summer School welcomes students from other universities who have completed and submitted the application and transient study letter in advance to the ECSU Office of Admissions. Prospective students who are not enrolled at a university should bring their high school diploma, a copy of their transcript, ACT or SAT scores, completed ECSU application form and fee ($30) to the ECSU Office of Admissions in the Marion D. Thorpe Administration Building before June 5. This summer, more than 200 undergraduate, graduate and distance learning courses are available. Thorpe Administration Building is located at 1704 Weeksville Road. The residence halls, University Towers and the Student Complex, will open at 9 a.m. on June 5. Students who completed advance registration must meet all financial obligations before the staff can assign rooms. Walk-in requests for housing will be accepted on June 5 once all summer school registration fees have been paid and a receipt is presented to the Residence Life staff. Mr. Bruce Boyd will be available at the K. E. White Graduate Center to assist students. Housing assignments will be provided on a first come-first-served basis.
