ECSU offers computer literacy workshop
Elizabeth City State University, in cooperation with AT&T, will hold a computer literacy workshop on April 2. On the campus of ECSU, in the Information Technology Center, the public can learn a variety of computer skills.
The goal of the program is to enhance the basic computer knowledge of young adults between the ages of 18 to 25 and senior adults. The program will facilitate participants’ understanding of computer literacy in an effort to increase career opportunities as well as enhance family connections through social media. The program is designed to provide an interactive and engaging learning environment for people who may have previously been intimidated or confused by current technology.
The workshop offers sessions on: basic computer skills for young adults andseniors, social/digital media, and job search basics. Registration: 9 AM
Basic Computer Skills for Seniors 10 AM- 12PM
Basic Computer Skills for Young Adults 10 AM- 12 PM
Social/Digital Media 1 PM- 2PM
Job Search Basics 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM
