Dr. Cynthia Warrick, dean of the ECSU School of Mathematics, Science & Technology, has been selected by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services to serve on the Board of Scientific Counselors of the CDC National Center for Environmental Health/Agency for Toxic Substances & Disease Registry (NCEH/ATSDR). The Board of Scientific Counselors provides advice and guidance to assist NCEH/ATSDR in ensuring scientific quality, timeliness, utility, and dissemination of results to fulfill the agency’s mission in protecting America’s health. Board members serve a term of four years.
