ECSU celebrates National Library Week, April 15-21

Elizabeth City State University will celebrate National Library Week, April 15-20. The theme for this year’s celebration is "Communities Come Together @ Your Library." This week is Amnesty Week so patrons with overdue materials can return them and pay no penalty fees. A list of free events for this year’s National Library week follows: April 16-20 ECSU Student Art Exhibit on Display – G. R. Little Library This display includes pencil drawings, paintings and sculptures by ECSU students and a local quilter. April 16 Story Reading Hour For youngsters ages 4 – 10 10 a.m., G. R. Little Library – Board Room Sponsored by: G. R. Little Library Club April 17 "Meet the Artists and Quilter" 2 p.m., G. R. Little Library – Board Room Participants: Heather DeShields, Keith A. Green, Steven McIntyre, Gavin L. Smith, ECSU student artists Mrs. Mary McFarland, a local quilter April 17 Library Workers’ Day – T-Shirt Day G. R.
