Elizabeth City State University Chancellor Willie Gilchrist (center) and Mrs. LaTanya Afolayan (right), of the ECSU Division of Institutional Advancement, accept a $600 donation from Dr. Laura Buffaloe (left), ECSU class of ’65. She is also a member of the UNC Board of Governors.ECSU is a 117-year-old public university offering undergraduate degrees in the arts, the sciences, business and education. The university offers four master’s degrees and collaborates with UNC Chapel Hill to offer a doctorate degree in pharmacy. ECSU is one of 16 public universities in the UNC system.
