Blige, Rapsody and Robert Glasper, is also the founder of Jamla Records. Rapper and Charlotte, N.C., native Reuben Vincent, who was signed to Jamla Records before signing to Roc Nation, will also be part of the hip-hop experience, along with other special guests.
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required to attend. Sign up today. The event will not be livestreamed.
Two exclusive master classes will be offered for ECSU students on February 28, from 4-5:30 p.m., as part of the day-long hip-hop experience. The courses are 90-minute classes with Douthit, Reuben Vincent, Jamla Records and Roc Nation collaborators; one will focus on beats and production, and the other will center on rhyming and lyricists.
