If you are looking to maximize dollars spent on higher education, look no further than Elizabeth City State University. Washington Monthly recently released the Best Bang for the Buck rankings in their book, "The Other College Guide: A Roadmap for the Right School for You." In order to determine the rankings, the editors considered net price, the institutions’ graduation rate and the rate at which the graduates can pay off their loans. The Triangle Business Journal proudly reported North Carolina had 10 of the top 20 "Best Bang for the Buck" schools in the southeast. ECSU fared quite well in the publication with a #17 ranking. This college guide has been published in time to help prospective students select an institution for fall enrollment. Washington Monthly editors said this college guide provides a set of guidelines to help students find the right school and excel once they arrive. Chancellor Stacey Franklin Jones is confident that ECSU is the right institution for many freshmen and transfer students. ""We’re proud of our standing as the most affordable academic success University in North Carolina," Chancellor Stacey Franklin Jones said. # # # http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/college_guide/rankings-other-college-guide/best-bang-for-buck-southeast-rank.php
