August 18, 2006 The Elizabeth City State University football team will hold their annual "Meet The Vikings" scrimmage this Saturday, August 19 at 6 pm at Roebuck Stadium. The intra-squad scrimmage will be the final tune-up, other than their daily practice, before the Vikings’ season opener versus Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC on September 2nd. The following Saturday, ECSU will return the Roebuck Stadium to host its first home game of the 2006 season against the University of Charleston (WV) on Saturday, September 9th . On September 16 the Viking will travel to Rocky Mount, NC to square off against Fayetteville State University at the 9th Annual Down East Viking Football Classic.
