Vikings Come Unleashed for ECSU’s Homecoming 2019

It’s time to unleash your Viking Spirit! It’s time for Elizabeth City State University’s Homecoming 2019.

This year “Vikings Unleashed” will be a celebration of all things Royal Blue, and it kicks off Tuesday, Oct. 15, leading up to the big match-up with Lincoln University at Roebuck Stadium Oct. 19, and ending with a prayer breakfast and an evening gospel concert Oct. 20.

This year’s Homecoming Parade will start at the National Guard Armory and follow Ehringhaus Street to Southern Avenue to Parkview Drive, ending at the ECSU campus. The parade viewing stage will be located at Waterfront Park.

This year’s parade grand marshal is Dr. Catherine Edmonds, the recently appointed superintendent of Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Public Schools. Prior to being named the ECPPS superintendent, Dr. Edmonds served as the superintendent of the Bertie County Schools System.

Thursday, Oct. 17
