Toddlers discover “Wiggly Worms” at Port Discover

March 02, 2009Toddlers will dig up the "dirty" facts about worms during Port Discover’s Toddler Time: "Wiggly Worms" at 10 a.m. on March 19. Children will discover the important role worms play as nature’s recyclers. Participants will also build a worm farm to take home. The program fee is $5 per family and reservations are required. The program is for 3 – 5 year-olds and parents or guardians must accompany the child. Port Discover is located at 613 E. Main Street, Elizabeth City. Port Discover’s hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Programs can be arranged at other times for special groups.
