Message from Chancellor Thomas E.H. Conway: Connect NC

Dear Viking Family,

I would like to extend a special thank you to all of those who have been involved in making the passage of the Connect NC Bond possible. On Tuesday, voters overwhelmingly said yes to the future of Elizabeth City State University and the state of North Carolina.

Thanks to the efforts of our Viking community, including our staff, faculty, students, alumni, The Elizabeth City State University Foundation, and the Board of Trustees, voters took the initiative to pass this bond. ECSU’s $13 million share of the statewide $2 billion bond will allow us to renovate the G.R. Little Library and historic Moore Hall.

The Connect NC Bond passage represents an understanding of the importance of the future of our students and this university. From here we move forward, building a stronger future for this great institution.
