Elizabeth City State University recently began a dual enrollment program in conjunction with Hertford County Schools that will allow high school students to earn college credits while working toward their high school diploma. Representatives from the two institutions gathered early in September to celebrate the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding that will allow students, in grades 10 – 12, to earn college credit hours while attending high school. The two parties have agreed to operate the dual enrollment program for the 2014 – 2015 academic year and they have the option to renew the agreement.
