ECSU trustees meet to ratify chancellor candidates

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE–The Board of Trustees of Elizabeth City State University will meet by conference call at 4 p.m., on Wednesday, July 30. The conference call will be conducted in the Chancellor’s Board Room, (Room #326) of the Marion D. Thorpe Administration Building on ECSU’s campus. The purpose of the meeting is to seek ratification of the names of three candidates for the position of chancellor. Following adoption of a closed session motion to consider the qualifications, competence, and character of an individual prospective employee under N.C.G.S. § 143-318.11(a)(6), the board will go into closed session.
