Elizabeth City State University’s International Week Program Committee will hold a series of events in celebration of International and American Education Week November 12-16, 2007. The university will host a series of events that will reflect this year’s theme – "International Education: Fostering Global Citizenship and Respect," teaching our children to be responsible and respectful world citizens: November 12 4 pm – 5 pm Tea and Coffee Reception Ridley Student Center International Week opening ceremony on the stage of the first floor November 13 2 pm – 3:30 pm Faculty/Student Forum on Scholarly Activities Ridley Student Center, Room 206 November 14 6 pm – 8 pm Community Day – selected movie presentation Ridley Student Center, Room 206 November 15 10 am American Education Week Assembly Area Teachers of the Year will be recognized Floyd L. Robinson Auditorium Mickey L. Burnim Fine Arts Complex November 16 6 pm – 9 pm International Dinner & Entertainment K. E. White Graduate Center Reservations for this International Dinner must made by November 9. Each family is expected to bring a favorite covered dish that is culturally acclaimed to the dinner.
