ECSU features art by painter Runcie Tatnall

The ECSU Art Department announces an art exhibit by Art by Runcie Tatnall in the Art Gallery of the Mickey L. Burnim Fine Arts Center. See this exhibit in January between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Runcie Tatnall trained in painting and illustration at the University of Delaware, the Art Students League in New York City, and the University of Miami.&nbsp He has been exhibiting professionally since 1995 in Philadelphia, Washington D.C., New York City, and Miami. Presently, Tatnall teaches art at the Miami International University of Art and Design and the University of Miami.&nbsp His work is part of collections throughout the United States.
The Art Department of Elizabeth City State University is proud to present a collection of paintings on loan from the artist.&nbsp Recently, Mr. Tatnall has been painting monumental works of boxers he interviews in the Miami area.&nbsp The works on loan to the university are smaller studies that offer viewers a glimpse of the preparation necessary to execute large scale works.&nbsp&nbsp Tatnall’s paintings are inspirational to art lovers and instructional for aspiring artists.&nbsp His work can be viewed at Runcie.com.&nbsp For more information, please contact the ECSU Art Department, 252-335-3347.
