Elizabeth City State University celebrates the 10th anniversary of Dr. Mickey L. Burnim as Chancellor of Elizabeth City State University at 2 p.m. March 31, with a student forum entitled "Leadership: Ten Years in the Making." The Student Government Association will hold the forum in Moore Hall Auditorium. For more information, contact the Office of Student Affairs at 252-335-3276. Chancellor’s Scholarship Gala benefits ECSU Foundation
Elizabeth City State University will hold a 10th Anniversary Scholarship Gala honoring Chancellor Mickey L. Burnim at 7 p.m. April 2 in the Kermit E. White Graduate Center. The recommended donation is $75 per person and the dress code calls for formal attire. This event will include a performance by jazz singer and ECSU alumna, Karla Crump. To reserve a seat call, 252-335-3594. Donations from the event benefit Elizabeth City State University Foundation’s Mickey and LaVera Burnim Scholarship Fund. Any and all donations to the scholarship fund in lieu of or in addition to attendance will be greatly appreciated. The ECSU Foundation is a non-profit agency that was organized to serve as the custodian of donations from the private sector. The foundation invests and administers the funds for the educational assistance of students and the university. Chancellor’s 10th Anniversary Prayer Breakfast is April 3
