ECSU Baseball Team hosts skills camp June 25-28

Elizabeth City State University and the Elizabeth City Parks and Recreation will host their first annual baseball camp June 25-28 at Holmes Field located at Knobbs Creek Recreation Center. The baseball camp, for youths ages 8-16, is designed to teach the fundamentals of baseball, as well as to encourage sportsmanship and physical activity. Areas of concentration will include fielding, hitting, base running, catching and conditioning. Members of the Elizabeth City State University baseball team, along with Head Coach Terrance Whittle, will serve as instructors in what is being tabbed as the "Ultimate Baseball Camp Experience." Participant ratio will be 7:1, so each camper is guaranteed individual attention they need to become a better baseball player. Participation is limited to 75, so reserve you spot early.
