ECSU Athletics hosts “Taste of Food Lion” at Homecoming game

October 22, 2008Elizabeth City State University and a CIAA Corporate partner, Food Lion, will host "Taste of Food Lion" on Saturday, October 25 during the football game between the Vikings and Saint Paul’s College at Roebuck Stadium. A highly successful event when it was held at Roebuck Stadium during the 2007 season, Food Lion representatives will return this Saturday as part of the 2008 Viking Homecoming Celebration. A chef will be on site to grill free samples of hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, turkey burgers and steaks. Food Lion volunteers will also be on hand with giveaways including MVP Applications, coupons, benefit sheets, hats and t-shirts. Additionally two drawings will take place for $100 Food Lion gift cards. The game between the Vikings and Tigers will kickoff at 1:30pm.
