ECSU to Host 14th Annual Virginia–North Carolina Alliance Undergraduate Research Symposium: Unleash Your STEM Imagination Virtually on March 28
Elizabeth City State University (ECSU) will virtually host the 14th Annual Virginia-North Carolina Undergraduate Research Symposium, titled, “Unleash Your STEM Imagination,” on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 12-4 p.m. The event takes place concurrently with the university’s 2023 Undergraduate Research Week, “Unleash Your Imagination.”
The symposium is an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and guests to network with peers from partner institutions. In addition, undergraduate STEM students from partner institutions have an opportunity to present their research and gain feedback from peers and guests.
The Virginia-North Carolina Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation is a National Science Foundation funded project led by the University of Virginia. One goal is diversification of the Science, Technology, and Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) workforce, with an emphasis on increasing the number of underrepresented minority students earning baccalaureate degrees and matriculating to graduate school. ECSU is an Alliance institution.
