Thomas Named CIAA Linebacker of the Week and Division II Defensive Player of the Week

The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association and D2Football.com named Elizabeth City State University’s Vincent Thomas the CIAA Linebacker of the Week and Division II Defensive Player of the Week.

The New Symra Beach, Florida native recorded 15 total tackles; including five tackles for a loss of 14 yards, a sack for eight yards, and a forced fumble. He now leads the team with a total of 45 tackles; which includes 12 for a loss, 3.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble.

The Vikings are set to travel to Murfreesboro, North Carolina to face Chowan University Saturday, Oct. 28 at 3 p.m.
