Dr. Gary Harmon was awarded $37,640 by UNC-Chapel Hill through the Howard Hughes Medical Institute for his Course Development and Undergraduate Assistantships Minority Advancement in the Biomolecular Sciences. The program integrates information technology into teaching, mentors undergraduate research/teaching/IT assistants, and provides a summer workshop for high school science teachers.
