J. C. Boykin, chair of the University of North Carolina Staff Assembly, will be the guest speaker at the ECSU Staff Senate meeting at 3:00 p.m. on June 18, in room #130 of the K. E. White Center. All SPA and EPA-non administrative staff are encouraged to attend this special presentation. A native of Kenly in Johnston County, Boykin is Construction Project Manager of informal projects in the Design and Construction Services Department of the Facilities Division of Finance and Business at North Carolina State University. He has served as Chair of the NCSU Staff Senate, and the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the State Employees Association. His term as Chair of the UNC Staff Assembly began in October 2006 and he is visiting the constituent universities to discuss the benefits of the Staff Assembly.
